When pulled upright this card is about curiosity and a never ending supply of ideas. It’s about being great at communicating. This person has a lot of nervous energy and their mind is never just empty. They always have something to think about. If this card is representing a message then it could be about gossip, legal matters, and agreements; very sword-esque topics. This card could also serve as a reminder to be alert, to keep your eyes peeled, and to stay vigilant. In addition this card could be about an idea you have that you are really eager to execute. You are really passionate about this project and you cannot wait to tell everyone the progress you’re making with it. This is definitely the time to talk about your or other people’s ideas.
When pulled in reverse this card is about using that alertness and sharpness for deceit and manipulation. Their natural gift with talking may be used negatively as they may become very hurtful. They may not totally realize the pain they are causing, whether that be from immaturity or just ignorance. They are really just focusing on how good they feel after lashing out at others. This person though could also be someone who is full of empty promises. They like to talk the talk but not walk the walk, if you will. This card reminds you to show that there is action behind your words.
Excuse the potty talk in this tarot spread but I thought it might be relevant in helping you figure out what’s up with that reversed page of swords in your life. First I would take the page of swords out of the deck and meditate on it while thinking about that person who’s… well… being an asshole. Then shuffle and pull the cards using your preferred method.

When pulled upright this card is about how you need to be open to new ideas, especially ones that come to you through your own intuition. Even though these intuitive ideas may have come unexpected it it important that you embrace them. These ideas can lead you on a new journey and open many doors for you. This card really puts an emphasis on creative doings. So if your new idea is music/art related really grab on to it and don’t let go. This card also suggests that you if you are struggling with something you should try looking at it from a different angle. This card is also about being persistent as persistence is the only way to achieve all that you desire. Always make sure you follow your intuition, fulfill your calling in life, and always believe anything and everything is possible. If you are someone who struggles with showing their emotions the page of cups is telling you now is the time. Both your creative and emotional side need to be expressed regardless of how unimportant they seem to you. A big reason many people struggle showing their emotions is because their ego won’t allow it. Take this card as a sign saying that it is okay to let those walls down and start a new beginning so you can become the real you.
When pulled in reverse this card is about being in a creative block. There are projects in your life that you started due to the joy it brought you but as of late you have been doing it for other reasons; be it money, fame, obligation, what have you. This card is telling you to remember why you started this and to bring the joy back into your project. Doing this will remove your creative block that you’re dealing with. This card could also be referring to a troubled person. This person is afraid of their reality right now. This fear could be due to emotions, finances, illnesses or something else entirely. Due to this fear you may find them trying to escape their reality through the abuse of drugs, alcohol, sex, etc. This person could be you or it could be a loved one who is struggling with self-acceptance. This card can be about someone having a lack of inspiration, self-worth, and/or someone who is depressed.
Here is a tarot spread for those of you who struggle to understand their emotions. The first step of expressing them is to understand them. First I would take the page of cups out of the deck and meditate on it thinking about how you have been feeling lately. Then shuffle and pull the cards using your preferred method.

When pulled upright this card is about new opportunities and experiences but it focuses a lot of illusions. It seems like you have new opportunities to choose from and they sound great in theory, but when you crack the surface and look deeper into them you may realize that the opportunities aren’t as great as they first seemed to be. This card can also be about wishing for things instead of manifesting them. So you are spending your time wishing you were good at an instrument, better at meditating, losing weight. However, you aren’t willing to put in the work to actually attain those things. Now is a good time to take one of those things you’ve been wishing about and actually put in the actions needed to achieve it. You also may have a habit of making these plans up in your head to achieve your goals but then realize when you actually set out to do it your plan doesn’t really work. This card is essentially telling you to get out of the ideas phase and actually choose something to work towards.
When pulled in reverse this talks about how you have several choices to make and you are making these decisions based on your inner wisdom rather than what everyone else wants you to do. If you are in a situation with multiple opportunities presenting themselves to you, you should take these opportunities and compare them to your priorities to best decide which you should take on. You may be feeling overwhelmed by all the choices but picking through them and tossing some out of the competition should really make things go smoother. You don’t need to keep searching for some big idea. You have everything you need already.
Here is a tarot spread for when you have some tough choices to make. First I would take the seven of cups out of the deck and meditate on it while thinking of the various choices you have. Then shuffle and pull the cards using your preferred method.
