My Salem Massachusetts 2 Day Trip Itinerary

So in the last week of June my partner and I will be going on a 10 day vacation and one of our stops is going to be 2 days in Salem. So I thought it would be fun if today I kind of post our itinerary and then the Wednesday after our trip I make a big post about what exactly we did, what we thought of each thing and then some pictures!

Also key to note that any prices I provide are in USD.

Day 1:

So day one will be spent absorbing all the knowledge I can get.

  • First stop will be the Salem witch museum.
    • For your knowledge the pricing is $13 for an adult, $11.50 for seniors, and $10 for kids 6-14. Presumably kids 5 and under are free.
  • Salem witch trials memorial is the second stop
    • I read online that one should do the museum first (as we plan to) to have more context. As long as you aren’t doing a tour this is free to my knowledge.
  • Charter st cemetery is third on the list
    • This cemetery is right beside the Salem witch trials memorial so it is a good spot to head to right after there
    • I would assume it is free as long as it isn’t a guided tour
  • The Howard st cemetery
    • This is said to be the cemetery that Giles Corey was pressed to death
    • And as the rest of the places of rest should be free

Day 2:

Most of this day will be just appreciating the city for what it is a city. We’ll go and check out local stores and just see other none witchy sites. However if the day end up drawing out a bit I have a couple places we could go to check out.

  • The Witch House
  • Witch History Museum
    • I found the price at one point but can’t seem to find it again
    • I read that this museum focuses more on witchcraft rather than the trials.

One thing that we will be doing later on in the evening is going on a walking tour. The tour we are going to go on is by hocus pocus tours. I’ll leave a link here if you want to know more about it. However if you just want to know the price it is Adults: $17, Seniors (65 & up): $15, Military Service Members: $15, Students: $15, Children (Ages 5-12): $10. Prices change a bit in October.

So that is all for today’s post. Make sure you stay tuned so you can hear about how the trip went and what I think of the various locations. Have you been to Salem? Let me know if you think there’s place I should visit that I haven’t mentioned, along with any other thoughts or questions you may have. Love is Eternal ~ A Poem

Hi everyone! I am back from my short little hiatus and hopefully that will be the end of inconsistent posting for a while. We are going to finish the week off with this post and Friday’s post. Next week we will get back to videos as well. I thought I would ease back in to the routine with a poem I wrote. Not quite sure if I am any good at poetry as my sister is the only one I’ve ever shown my work to. Hopefully it’s at least alright. I wrote this poem for Yule of 2017 just like my sister did for Apollo (link here to read her poem). Mine however is dedicated to Gaia.

Love is Everlasting

You’re earth around me

You make up soil beneath me

Wet, brown between toes

Birds in all the trees

The animals walking earth

The plants in the ground

Your scent in the air

It is crisp and brings me life

You are all I breath

I feel your presence

Your energy surrounds me

Coursing through bodies

I feel the beating

Drumming I feel in my heart

Your heart against mine

We are one together

Two halves of a whole united

Love is eternal

That is all I have for today. I’d love to hear any of your pagan/wiccan themed poems or see any of your art related to the subject as well. Feel free to send them to and if you want I’ll even post them to the blog with any info of yours you want attached. Make sure you subscribe to me here and on twitter so you get notifications when I post and when I upload videos to youtube. Until next time, Blessed Be!

Tarot Series~Minor Arcana: Ace of Wands

Today we are going to start the next chapter of our tarot series.  So far we have talked about all of the major arcana. If you want to read about that you can find all of those posts in the book of shadows. Minor Arcana cards tell the supporting details of the situation. Major Arcana cards usually tell big points in the situation where as minor arcana cards really tie everything together. The cards that have the names of royalty (page, knight, queen, and king) tend to be in the middle of importance. So they aren’t quite as important as the major arcana cards but they hold more information than the regular minor cards. Today we are going to start with the wand cards. Wand cards are based of the fire element and the season of autumn. These cards usually talk about passion, inspiration, willpower, action, ambition, making plans, recklessness, and lack of direction. These themes occur a lot in the wands cards.

When pulled upright this card is about being boldly creative. It is about finding your voice and develop your own vision. When you get this card it means you should just go for it. Take the first steps in starting your creative project. This card can also mean that you are waiting for a sign to start a project. Instead of going over research and planning just start with the small steps and work on developing your ideas over time. Another meaning for this card could be that you’re going to be experiencing a breakthrough moment in your life. You are now motivated and inspired about an idea or project.

When pulled in reverse this card talks about some hard times you are going to face in the near future. You may feel like you have no direction which makes you feel uninspired and unmotivated. You probably don’t know what you want to do and are in a bit of a slump. If you already have a goal you aren’t excited to achieve it. This card is telling you you should take some time off and allow yourself the space to find some inspiration. You’re current responsibilities and commitments are weighing you down and are making it so you can’t think of new ideas. This card could also be about delays in your current project. You want to finish what you’re doing but there are other things getting in your way. You may also have a great idea but have no idea how to execute it. Just be patient and wait for the right time.

Here is a great tarot spread for when you have a block in your creativity. I would recommend taking out the ace of wands and meditating on what you’re struggling to get past creatively. Then shuffle and pull the cards as you see fit.

Thank you for reading! I hope you enjoyed learning about the ace of wands. If you have any thoughts or questions please leave them in the comments. Make sure to follow me here and on twitter to get notifications on when I post. Until next time, Merry Meet and Blessed Be.
